Elk City Urgent Recovery Center (URC) Grand Opening
Red Rock Behavioral Health Services, in collaboration with the ODMHSAS, is proud to announce the grand opening of the Elk City Urgent Recovery Center (URC) in Elk City, Oklahoma. This facility will stand as a commitment to our unwavering support to provide accessible, high-quality mental health and substance abuse services to individuals in need.
Elk City URC
The Elk City URC is designed to help those with mental health and substance abuse challenges. This facility will offer a comprehensive range of services, including counseling, therapy and support programs tailored to the diverse needs of individuals seeking recovery and healing.
“The grand opening of the Urgent Recovery Center in Elk City is a significant step towards building a brighter, more compassionate future for Elk City and the entire state of Oklahoma,” said ODMHSAS Commissioner Carrie Slatton-Hodges. “We’re dedicated to ensuring that individuals seeking recovery receive the support and care they deserve as they embark on their journey to wellness.”
“We are thrilled to bring this new level of care to the citizens of Beckham County and surrounding areas,” said Verna Foust, CEO of Red Rock Behavioral Health Services. “Urgent Recovery Centers are designed to work like physical health emergency departments. Adults in an acute mental health or substance use crisis will be able to have quick access to professionals who can help them stabilize and get back to their community and families. The average stay is less than 24 hours. If needed, Red Rock can provide a higher level of care.”
The debut of the Red Rock URC represents a collaborative effort to ensure that individuals in need have access to the support and care they deserve as they embark on their journey to recovery.
