Our mental health advocacy efforts help ensure that Red Rock’s mission is heard by government leaders, both elected and appointed. We want them to know how we help the community so they can make informed decisions and pass laws that benefit people with mental illness or who struggle with addiction.
We Are Doers
Red Rock is involved advocating for new projects and programs to improve mental health in Oklahoma. One project we were recently involved in and which we are very proud of is the 988 mental health license plate.
We Are Leaders
Leaders at Red Rock Behavioral Health Services helped launch Oklahoma’s largest and most unified mental health advocacy organization, the Alliance of Mental Health Providers of Oklahoma. Our CEO serves as President of this organization.
In addition, our staff of mental health leaders serve on boards and committees throughout the state that are focused on improving mental health in Oklahoma.
We Are Experts
Red Rock staffs a variety of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers, etc., who are experts in behavioral medicine; mental health treatment; behavioral wellness and substance abuse services. These experts share their knowledge with government decision makers on a regular basis.
