Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day

Red Rock Norman Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 55 bed community‐based unit that serves clients with mental illness, substance abuse or co‐occurring problems who are in crisis and require immediate evaluation/stabilization. Our purpose is to assess and stabilize the crisis, then refer to the appropriate level of care for continuation of services.

Information and/or services provided:

  • Serve adults 18 years or age or older
  • Either Voluntary or Emergency Detention admission status
  • Must be medically stable and meet specific admission criteria
  • Staffed with Psychiatrists, Licensed clinical staff, Licensed Nurses, Admission and Discharge staff, Mental Health Technicians and support staff
  • Typical length of stay is approximately 6‐8 days
  • Daily treatment team involvement and activities
  • Referral or discharge recommendations to a higher level of care or to appropriate community resources
  • The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services provides funding for those with no payor source. Medicaid and private insurance are also accepted.

Red Rock Clinton Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 10 bed community‐based unit that serves clients with mental illness, substance abuse or co‐occurring problems who are in crisis and require immediate evaluation/stabilization. Our purpose is to assess and stabilize the crisis, then refer to the appropriate level of care for continuation of services.

Red Rock Children’s Crisis Unit is a community‐based crisis stabilization center. Our purpose is to fill a critical gap in the present continuum of care to children in Oklahoma. Our mission is to quickly assess a child in crisis, stabilize the crisis and then refer to an appropriate level of care.

  • Serves males and females ages 10 through 17.
  • Fully staffed with mental health technicians, registered nurses, licensed therapists and a psychiatrist.
  • Length of stay will typically not exceed seven days.
  • Services provided are: Crisis Assessment and Intervention, Therapy (Individual, Group and Family), Skill Building Groups, Medication Evaluation and Management and Discharge Coordination.
  • The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services provides funding for those with no payor source. Medicaid and private insurance are also accepted.
